Date: Saturday April 21, 2018 — rain or shine
Place: BOSE Corporation, 688 Great Road, Stow (Rt. 117)

Time: 9:00 am to 2:00 pm

Friends of Troop 1 Stow is holding their annual electronics recycling event so you can responsibly get rid of your old electronics.

The nominal fee also helps support the activities of Stow’s Boy Scout Troop 1.

Home pickup is available on April 7th. Please call 978-212-9175 or email: with your questions or to schedule a pickup.

East Coast Electronics out of Shirley, MA is the vendor that will be handling the materials this year.  We have used their services in the past and look forward to working with them again this year.



Paper Shredding fundraiser is May 6th!

Place: Hale Middle School, 55 Hartley Road, Stow, MA

Time: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm


Friends of Troop 1 Stow is holding their annual paper shredding event so you can securely have your documents shredded.

The nominal fee (.35 cents per lb) helps support the activities of Stow’s Boy Scout Troop 1.

Congratulations to Troop 1 Stow Eagle Scout Jack Slattery

 Receipent of the Knox Trail Council’s Glenn A. and Melinda W. Adams National Eagle Scout Service Project of the Year Award.

Jack is the 1st scout in Knox Trail Council to receive this award.

Jack produced a video documenting a day in the life of a 19th century schoolhouse for the Stow Historical Society.  You can view the video here:
